Troja chateau is is lovely 17th century Baroque chateau in today's Prague 7 district located next to botanical gardens and the ZOO. This charming trip will take you away from Prague's busy and touristic city centre and will show you parts of Prague that many tourists do not visit and it is indeed a pity. The Prague ZOO is at the moment the fifth best zoo in Europe according to the ratings and statistics. The botanical gardens are lovely as well, offer an escape to the greenery, a greenhouse Fata Morgana with its pleasing S-shaped curve and butterflies flying above your head especially in April and May are spectacular and the Troja chateau takes you back to the times of Prague nobility and if you like you can also walk through its permanent collection of the 19th centrury art and sculpture that is the hands of Prague City Gallery.
