Communist tour
On the Communist walk, you will learn about communism, about life under a communist regime, and you will follow the route of the beginning of the Velvet Revolution which started on November 17th, 1989. This marked the end of communism in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. You will also hear about the end of the so-called Prague Spring – August 1968, and you will see what happened after the invasion of the brotheren armies of the Warsaw Pact into the former Czechoslovakia.
