During this tour you will learn about different styles of architecture that embelished Prague over the centuries. By the end of the tour you will be able to distinguish between Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Roccoco, Classicism, 19th - century historicising styles (eclectical styles), Art Nouveau and Art Deco, Cubism and Socialist Realism of the 20th century all the way up to modern architecture of the recent years such as the Dancing house.
You can also request an architecture tour on a specific topic such as only Art Nouveau. During this tour you will walk in the footsteps of the Art Nouveau in Prague. You will become acquianted with the most famous painter of Art Nouveau of Czech origin - Alfons Mucha and his greatest achievements. You will peak into the most beautifull and precious Art Nouveau jewel in Prague called the Municipal House (Obecni dum) with a famous Parisian-like cafe from 1911, with the oldest bar in Prague called the American bar, with the French restaurant there that is featured in many Czech films. You will stop by Mucha's privately-owned museum at the end of the tour to let you step in and enjoy the collection of his posters there.
